The new programmes which are already in the process of admitting candidates for the forthcoming Academic Session (2017/2018) are National Diploma (ND) in Fisheries Technology, as well as Higher National Diploma (HND) in Animal Production Technology and Agricultural Extension Management.
According to a correspondence from the NBTE, Seventeen (17) National Diploma (ND) programmes were granted full accreditation status for five years with effect from the 2017/2018 Academic Session.
The ND programme with full accreditation include Accountancy; Banking and Finance; Business Administration and Management; Marketing; Purchasing and Supply; Architectural Technology; Building Technology; Surveying and Geo-informatics; Quantity Surveying; Estate Management; Urban and Regional Planning; Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering; Computer Science; Glass and Ceramics Technology; Statistics and Science Technology.
With the exception of the Purchasing and Supply programme which is still at ND level, all other programmes with ND accreditation also had their HND accreditation programmes (26) in all similarly approved with some of them running up to two, three or four options.
